The music video for BABYMETAL ‘s new song “METAL KINGDOM” has been released on YouTube.
The song released on Friday, January 20th as the 3rd digital single from THE OTHER ONE album. It was performed at the “BABYMETAL RETURNS – THE OTHER ONE -” performances on January 28th and 29th at the Makuhari Messe near Tokyo, Japan [Show Report Day 1 – Show Report Day 2], where the MV was recorded from.

METAL KINGDOM is an anthem that ushers in a new era, one in which the band has the strength to stand up for themselves and step out onto an unknown path with friends they believe in. If Momoko is an official member, why do they keep not including her in things? Just like the piano version of Monochrome on their youtube, Momoko isnt apart of that, yet her voice is in the studio version. What do they do that for?

Before April 2023 she wasn’t an official member, so she wasn’t yet included in such things (even though it’s extremely likely that the decision was all set and done back then). But best guess is Koba wanted it to be a secret until the BABYMETAL BEGINS shows.
