This is the second of five singles that will release in the upcoming months before the release of THE OTHER ONE album concept album, which releases in March 2023.
It will release this Friday, November 18th at 12 AM (0:00 hs.) JST (Japan Standard Time) and will become available for digital download and streaming on most services (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
There will also be an official lyric video released on BABYMETAL’s official YouTube channel. This is a first for BABYMETAL! They are usually more “secretive” of lyrics, with essentially all of the official lyrics coming from lyric books when an album releases.
As with the first single, Divine Attack – Shingeki -, which released last month, there is no physical version at the moment.

One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is MONOCHROME and this 2nd pre-release digital single “Monochrome” centers around this theme. From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnorok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors.
