In commemoration of Sakura Gakuin’s 10th Anniversary (as well as their last year), a museum has opened in Tower Records. The museum has a variety of things for display, such as various merch sold over the years, outfits worn, pictures, original copies of their diaries, and more.

The museum will stay open from November 28th to December 13th at Space HACHIKAI on the 8th floor of Tower Records Shibuya, Tokyo.

There are other things related to the girls themselves (apart from BABYMETAL), of course, such as their member pictures, graduation photobooks, original diaries, and more:

Some older fans may remember the museum they opened for the 5th anniversary back in 2015.

Original BABYMETAL outfits, from the 2015 Museum

Fun fact, the outfits were mostly borrowed at the time (thanks to Jabberwokk for the info). From Yui’s 11/1/2015 diary:

  1. MOAMETAL’s vest – had been Yui’s
  2. SU-METAL’s outfit – had been a staffer’s (SG “teacher”)
  3. YUIMETAL’s decoration – had been Raura’s

At the event was also ex-member Airi Matsui, who was asked and commented about BABYMETAL’s appearance at Kohaku:

When the subject of Sakura Gakuin graduates BABYMETAL participating in the “NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen” for the first time at the end of the year came up, Matsui said with excitement, “I was so excited (to hear the news)!”. When asked if she contacted them, she spoke frankly, “I was going to, but I forgot (laughs)” and made the hall erupt. “I thought I’d send it to everyone, but I forgot… But in my heart I’m cheering for them really hard, I’ll definitely watch it! The feelings are enough.”

I discovered Baby metal on February 28th this year, back then was ‘Catch me if you can’ that caught my attention.
Unfortunately I never saw Mizuno Yui with Nakamoto Suzuki and Kikuchi Moa but only through YouTube and when Babymetal official showed ‘stay metal stay home’ on YouTube, I was there watching the show. Such a great and amazing show.
My Christmas wish this year is, wish to see Mizuno Yui with Nakamoto Suzuki and Kikuchi Moa Live.
thank you for creating such a great music. Sending love from Greenland 🇬🇱….take care.
