This is a special 10th anniversary program to look back on the activities of BABYMETAL, which has gained worldwide popularity beyond national borders.
BABYMETAL has changed the preconceived notions of the metal genre drastically and has gained more recognition not only in Japan but also in Europe, the U.S. and other countries where “metal culture” has matured. The band celebrates its 10th anniversary on October 2020. To commemorate this anniversary, the best album “10 BABYMETAL YEARS” will be released on December 10th in “10 forms”. They also made their first appearance at the NHK Red White Singing Contest, adding to the anniversary year. Not only that, they also announced that they will perform 10 live concerts at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo in 2021, the first time since 2014.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of BABYMETAL, a special program will be broadcasted to look back their past activities, tracing their “LEGEND” of 10 years with performances that have been broadcasted on WOWOW.
