Hideki Aoyama was born on August 29th, 1986 in Kanagawa prefecture. He is the son of a known drummer in Japan, Jun Aoyama, who passed away in 2013. He also lost his brother last year, just a week before his birthday, on August 21st. His message:
On 21 August 2018, my younger brother, drummer Aoyama Yuki, has fallen into eternal sleep because of congestive heart failure.

The news comes so unexpectedly that I am extremely sorry to make such a belated announcement.
The farewell ceremony is planned to be held in October. In case that everyone will be aware of the date.
I will be inheriting the will of Yuki and my father, who were both drummers and showed love for their work.

His first show for BABYMETAL was in early 2013, for LEGEND Z. Since then, he has been BABYMETAL’s go-to drummer, playing 171 shows for them.
