UPDATE 1: It’s possible that no bands from that stage may perform today, as they are still building it, and keep announcing bands cancelled from that stage.
UPDATE 2: The stage will be ready and BABYMETAL will play 30 minutes later than scheduled, at 7:20PM local time.
They were supposed to play at 6:50PM, they have not announced the new time yet. (Time converter to your timezone – Countdown).
Their late placement helped, as many artists had to cancel their shows outright, and the Tokyo Beach Stage shows were cancelled entirely for Friday.
From around 22:00 after resuming the construction work last night, Maishima was hit by a strong wind and rain that greatly exceeded the forecast, and the work was repeatedly interrupted due to prolonged heavy winds, delaying the stage setting work more than expected.
SUMMER SONIC 2019 OSAKA will be held as scheduled, but due to the status of each stage, there is a great possibility that there will be delays in performance and other changes. In addition to the opening times of each stage, changes will be announced as soon as they become available.
OCEAN STAGE and MOUNTAIN STAGE are expected to be delayed from the scheduled start time. Information on changes resulting from this will be announced later.
