Happy 20th Birthday Yui!

Japan time, of course.

Yui was born on June 20th, 1999 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

This is her first birthday after leaving the band officially.

We haven’t heard anything from her since her message to fans after leaving BABYMETAL. But, her Amuse profile is still up, which means she is still working for them.

A person’s 20th birthday in Japan is probably their most important. It’s their Coming of Age birthday, when they officially become adults. She will have a special day (along with Moa and all other people who turn 20 from April 2nd of this year and April 1st of next year), her Coming of Age day, on the 2nd Monday of January 2020 (which will be the 13th).
